DRIVEN: A Minute With John Maxwell, Free Coaching Video

To be DRIVEN is to be OBEDIENT to your PURPOSE.
… to that which draws out the very best in you… your highest calling.

When you DISPEL all doubts and illusions to arrive at the truth….
when your feelings IMPEL you to take a stand against an injustice….
when your convictions COMPEL you take action NOW… you are DRIVEN.

Those who are DRIVEN to make a lasting difference in the world understand this.

One of example of being DRIVEN that I know of is Mother Teresa. Consumed by compassion, guided by generosity, she ambitiously advanced through life, trading her time, nurturing the needy… fostering friendships… promoting peace. She was obedient to her purpose. She never complained about her pain.

In his book, “The Purpose Driven Life: What On Earth Am I Here For?”, Rick Warren relates, “Experience is not what happens to you. It is what you do with what happens to you. Don’t waste your pain; use it to help others.”.

DRIVEN means… Determined Resolve Infusing Value Everywhere Now.

We all possess the ability to be the next Martin Luther King Jr. or Mahatma Ghandi. Will it be you? Have a meaning-filled day, friends!

SUBMISSION: A Minute With John Maxwell, Free Coaching Video

SUBMISSION is MEEKNESS in action.

Some people mistakenly think that meekness means weakness. Actually, it's quite the opposite. The process of breaking a horse of its wild nature is referred to as MEEKING.

It is brought under control by being corralled and then yoked to a horse that is already broken. At first, the wild horse kicks and bucks wildly in protest, but through the patient endurance of the broken horse, the wild one eventually settles down and learns to use its STRENGTH where necessary.

STRENGTH =
Superior Tolerance Really Exemplifies Nonresistance Gained Through Humility.

The late Henry Miller said, "True strength lies in SUBMISSION which permits one to dedicate his life, through devotion, to something beyond himself."

SUBMISSION is... Strength Utilized By Meekness Is Selfless Service In Others Needs.

If any of us need to be UNYIELDING, it is in our loving, selfless service to others. Enjoy your day, friends!

ALLIANCE: A Minute With John Maxwell, Free Coaching Video

"An ALLIANCE is a passionate union of hearts, a committed meeting of minds, a.
dedicated soul collective." ~ Bill Butler.

An ALLIANCE forms the framework for fostering fraternal friendships. It is a strategic support system... a coalition of considerate companions clearly committed to completing one another.

While the old adage, "Two heads are better than one" may be true, it is infinitely more so when numerous people have joined their hearts, minds and souls TOGETHER into an ALLIANCE.

An ALLIANCE is an...

Affinity Linking Lives In A Nurturing Completing Environment.

Have a wonderful day friends!

TEAMWORK: A Minute With John Maxwell, Free Coaching Video

A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He doesn't set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the quality of his actions and the integrity of his intent. In the end, leaders are much like eagles... they do not flock; you find them one at a time.

There are three types of workers: those who get things done, those who watch things get done, and those who wonder how so much got done.
- unknown

It has been my experience that every team who has someone from the first quote above, falls into the first category of the second quote above. TEAMWORK is all about ego being left at the door. A true leader isn't worried about credit for a job well done. A true leader is concerned that the job be well done. That requires putting together a TEAM of individuals who recognize the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

TEAMWORK.

God Bless You, Beloved.

VOICE: A Minute With John Maxwell, Free Coaching Video

As a former on-air personality, I understand the value of our VOICE. When sound is all you have to work with...clear articulation, enunciation, inflection, intonation and modulation are of utmost importance.

In production, there are many fancy tools with which to ensure professionalism. Many of the sound effects you hear on a commercial come from bending and stretching the voice and playing with the pitch. That's a lot of fun.

What always amazes me are the number of uses for the human voice. We announce and pronounce, speak and sing, ululate and yodel, utter and mutter, murmur and complain, talk and shout, praise and proclaim.

The BEST use for our VOICE is to express love to others, to offer words of encouragement, and to speak up and VOICE our concerns for those who cannot do so for themselves.

Very Often I Communicate Empathically.

Having a VOICE is not something that should ever be taken for granted. I am grateful to have a VOICE and I very much empathize with those who have APHASIA, whose ability to comprehend and communicate is impaired.

Today, friends, ensure that your Vocal Output Is Clearly Expressed.

SELF-AWARENESS: A Minute With John Maxwell, Free Coaching Video

SELF-AWARENESS is a telescope DRAWN INWARD.

When we look through a telescope, we appreciate how vast the universe is,
how unfathomably wide, how deeply mysterious, how incredibly beautiful.

How often we travel the world searching for life's deepest meaning, while ignorant of the one that lies within. SELF-AWARENESS is the journey to discovery.

Carl Jung said,
“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart.
Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”.

SELF-AWARENESS is both enlightening and empowering.

SELF-AWARENESS is...
Serenely Entering Life's Fullest Awakening With Alertness Realizing Enlightenment.
Nicely Experiencing Spiritual Sagacity.

AS I often say... "Go within, or go without."

Enjoy all that you discover today, friends. Warm Regards.

ENCOURAGEMENT: A Minute With John Maxwell, Free Coaching Video

In my original writing in this forum on the word ENCOURAGEMENT, I started off by saying... "ENCOURAGEMENT is oxygen to the soul... it breathes new life into our beleaguered spirit."

ENCOURAGEMENT motivates us to RISE above NEGATIVITY.

Words of ENCOURAGEMENT console, comfort and cheer us, reviving our confidence.
They inspire, invigorate and reassure us that all will be well... to hang in there... to stay the course... to look on the bright side of life.

Each Nice Consolation Optimistically Uplifts, Removing All Gloom, Elevating Most Everyone's Negative Thoughts.

Today, friends, I ENCOURAGE you to passionately pursue your purpose.
If you do this, you'll have little time for negativity.

Enjoy your day!

COMMITMENT: A Minute With John Maxwell, Free Coaching Video

COMMITMENT is the DISCIPLINE of HONORING your INTENTIONS.

All that is VALUABLE arises from living out our OBLIGATIONS without EXCUSES.
Mae West used to say, “An ounce of performance is worth pounds of promises.”.

REMEMBER... You can only BE the BEST if you offer your very BEST.

COMMITMENT is... Carrying Out Mindfully Maintained Intentions That Measurably Extends Necessary Trust.

Today, friends, I ENCOURAGE you to make a lifelong COMMITMENT to EXCELLENCE!
Have a wonderful day!
